             St. Francis lost against Cambridge-Isanti back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The St. Francis Fighting Saints came up short against  the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets, falling  3-0. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Fighting Saints in their matchups with the Bluejackets: they've now lost four in a row.
 The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17,  25-16.
  Neva Ihrke went supernova for Cambridge-Isanti,  getting seven  digs and 26  assists. Ihrke is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 12 or more in the last 13 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brianna Dickey, who  had 11  digs and two  aces.
 St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Cambridge-Isanti,  the  win snapped their losing streak at six games  and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

As for Cambridge-Isanti, they will be playing at home against North Branch  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Cambridge-Isanti: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home dating back to last season, while North Branch has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
