Basketball Recap: Badger Comes Up Short

Badger played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 55-20 loss at the hands of the Grand Valley Mustangs. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Badger lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gabriella Miller, who posted eight points and three steals. Miller has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played.

Badger has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Grand Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Badger wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 33-29 win against Harding on the 3rd. Grand Valley has also already played their next contest, a 61-54 defeat against Cornerstone Christian on the 1st.
