Chavez is 0-5 against Tokay since March of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Titans will head out to challenge the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Chavez will be strutting in after a victory while Tokay will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, Chavez beat McNair 7-2. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Natalia Dias made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other pitching news, Gabby Gomes looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Kimora Bell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Natally Sanchez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Chavez was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McNair only posted a batting average of .154.
Meanwhile, Tokay unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Stagg by a score of 8-7.
Emma Misasi 2025 was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Pasqualicchio 2028, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Tokay's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Chavez, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Chavez has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Tokay struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Chavez might still be hurting after the 18-4 defeat they got from Tokay in their previous matchup on April 2nd. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
