Baseball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

North Judson-San Pierre came into Thursday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Argos Dragons with a sharp 17-1 win on Thursday. That looming 17-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bluejays yet this season.

Ayson Harper and Brock Benson did most of the damage at the plate: Harper went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Benson went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Benson is becoming a predictor of North Judson-San Pierre's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-6 when he doesn't). Brennen Trent also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

North Judson-San Pierre always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
