Volleyball Recap: Hickory Finds Playoff Glory Versus Eisenhower

It's playoff time, and Hickory had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Eisenhower Knights by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Knights on October 1st, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Eisenhower's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexi Pascuzzi, who had 15 assists and ten digs.

Hickory has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Eisenhower, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

As of now, neither Hickory nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
