Volleyball Game Preview: McKee Vo-Tech Seagulls vs. New Dorp Central Cougars

The McKee Vo-Tech Seagulls will head out to square off against the New Dorp Central Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (McKee Vo-Tech has four wins , while New Dorp has five dating back to last season).

Last Tuesday, McKee Vo-Tech was able to grind out a solid win over Port Richmond, taking the game 2-0.

Meanwhile, New Dorp narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Curtis 2-1.

McKee Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for New Dorp, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

McKee Vo-Tech came out on top in a nail-biter against New Dorp when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seagulls since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
