Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Hills Takes Down Seaholm/Groves in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Bloomfield Hills had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Seaholm/Groves Maples with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Black Hawks as they're now sitting on five straight.

Julia Colosimo was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October.

Colosimo wasn't the only good servers: Bloomfield Hills was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

Bloomfield Hills' record is now 41-6-1. As for Seaholm/Groves, they moved to 18-15-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Bloomfield Hills nor the Maples have any future games scheduled.
