Volleyball Recap: Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Grafton Spoilers on Thursday.

Grafton had a senior duo take command as Emma LeClerc had 25 digs and four assists and Annika Sangrait had 17 digs and one assist. Those 17 digs set a new season-high mark for Sangrait.

Grafton's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-10-2.

Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Devils Lake at 7:00 p.m. on November 3. Grafton has already played their next contest (against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
