Nathan Valk was his usual excellent self, rushing for 92 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Sasha Fiterman got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for First Baptist Christian against Logos Prep Academy on Friday as the team secured an 84-38 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won eight in a row.

First Baptist Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Emery/Weiner, their win bumped their record up to an identical 9-2.

Things could have been worse for Emery/Weiner, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 40-24 loss to First Baptist Christian in their previous matchup on November 8th. Can Emery/Weiner avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
