Meade County is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since February 22, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by Breckinridge County and fell 78-48. The contest marked the Green Waves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Elizabethtown duked it out withBardstown on Friday. Elizabethtown walked away with a 59-51 win over Bardstown.

Elizabethtown's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Meade County, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-6.
