Loveland is a perfect 3-0 against Silver Creek since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Red Wolves will square off against the Raptors at 6:30 p.m. Loveland will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

On Friday, Loveland ended up a good deal behind Monarch and lost 38-21.

Loveland might have lost, but man, Jackson Gebhardt was a machine: he threw for 129 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 122 yards on only 11 carries. Gebhardt's longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Loveland's leading receiver Cache Villeneuve was Gebhardt's top target yet again, picking up 79 receiving yards and one TD.

Even if they lost, Loveland's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Brady Peterson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Another thorn in Monarch's side was Tyler Chadwick, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.

Meanwhile, Silver Creek lost to Frederick at home by a 28-14 margin on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Raptors in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Loveland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Loveland against Silver Creek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 34-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
