Volleyball Recap: Meridian's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Meridian can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Kuna Kavemen. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 24-26, 28-26.

When it comes to explaining why Kuna lost, don't look at Sophie Thorne. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs.

The win got Meridian back to even at 9-9. As for Kuna, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
