It's playoff time, and Ralston Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Cherry Creek Bruins 26-25. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Bruins back in August, they had to take a 21-15 loss.

Ashlyn Callahan produced another solid effort picking up 79 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 44 yards and one TD. Emma O'Connor got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Ralston Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Cherry Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Ralston Valley will face off against Mountain Vista at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Golden Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last 11 games. Cherry Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
