Greenbrier had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They rang in the new year with a 59-46 win over the Beebe Badgers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.

Greenbrier's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Beebe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Greenbrier and Beebe could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. The Panthers will face off against Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (45 vs. 10). Meanwhile, Beebe (ranked 210th) will meet Jacksonville (ranked 77th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
