On Friday, Blue Valley humbled Pike Valley with a 66-36 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Blue Valley.
Pike Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Cooper's third in a row with at least ten points. Elijah Field was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Blue Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pike Valley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Valley won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Washington County. Pike Valley won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Wakefield at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th.
