After a string of three wins, Beecher's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln-Way Central Knights. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Beecher was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-8.

Beecher's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Beecher will challenge Tri-Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will head out to challenge Andrew at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
