Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Princeton made off with a 1-0 victory over Jones. The one-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Princeton's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Eastern Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
