Volleyball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Barneveld Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10, 25-12.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Barneveld, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Albany will challenge rival Pecatonica at 7:00 p.m. on October 2. Meanwhile, Barneveld is set to take on their familiar foe Argyle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
