Football Recap: Chapin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chapin extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They were beaten by the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes 50-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Dutch Fork, their record now sits at 4-1. That 50 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Quintin Wilson had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 176 yards and three scores while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. Those 176 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Jaxon Knotts was another key player, throwing for 181 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Chapin will face off against Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dutch Fork, they will venture away from home to take on White Knoll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Silver Foxes surely won't give up without a fight.
