Hillsboro not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024. They were the clear victor by a 9-3 margin over the Cane Ridge Ravens. The Burros haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Clayton Jenkins made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
