Basketball Game Preview: Prairie View Thunderhawks vs. Mountain Range Mustangs

Prairie View is 1-7 against Mountain Range since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Prairie View Thunderhawks will head out to challenge the Mountain Range Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, Prairie View earned a 69-58 victory over Brighton.

Meanwhile, Mountain Range didn't have quite enough to beat Boulder on Thursday and fell 75-73.

Prairie View pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points over those games. As for Mountain Range, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Prairie View might still be hurting after the 73-50 loss they got from Mountain Range in their previous meeting back in January. Can Prairie View avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
