Basketball Recap: Columbus Snags 12th Win in Last 14 Games

Columbus's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 48-28 margin over the West Burlington Falcons. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Columbus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for West Burlington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Columbus will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Danville on February 21, 2026. West Burlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
