Owensboro Catholic scored first but ultimately less than Lake Park in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 7-6. The Aces' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Barrett Evans was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Murphy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Owensboro Catholic now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Lake Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.
