Basketball Recap: Boerne Greyhounds vs. Pieper Warriors

Boerne was the 45-42 winner over Pieper when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Boerne Greyhounds took a 71-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pieper Warriors on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (60), the Greyhounds still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Boerne saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hank Hendrix went 5 for 8 en route to 18 points and eight rebounds. Boerne's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Pieper, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-11.
