Basketball Recap: Bogalusa Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Bogalusa can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-37 win over the St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks. This was a revenge game for the Lumberjacks: when they faced off against the Hawks back in January, they had to take a 34-29 loss.

Bogalusa's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for St. Helena College and Career Academy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Bogalusa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 40-18 defeat against Sumner on the 4th. St. Helena College and Career Academy has also already played their next game (against Pope John Paul II), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
