After losing to Starmount the last time they met, South Stokes decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sauras walked away with a 10-7 win over the Rams on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Sauras considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Samuel Kidd was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Cameryn Phipps was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

South Stokes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

With the victory, South Stokes broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9. As for Starmount, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: South Stokes beat the Rams by a score of 10-7 on Monday.
