Softball Recap: Constantine Takes a Loss

Constantine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 25-6 to the Wayland Wildcats.

Jozee Buglione was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Anndee Evans was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Constantine's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Wayland, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.

Constantine and Wayland should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 85th) will meet Centreville (ranked 275th) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Wayland will square off against Cedar Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (4 vs. 126).
