Basketball Recap: St. Joseph's Catholic Skates Past Crescent with Ease

There's no place like home for St. Joseph's Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They really took it to the Crescent Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 43-16 win. The Knights pushed the score to 40-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading St. Joseph's Catholic to victory were Tiffany Helmer and Evie Adams. Helmer went 7 for 13 on her way to 18 points, while Adams posted 12 points and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Adams a new career-high in blocks (two). Stella Nash was another key player, putting up eight points.
