Volleyball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the King Wolves, falling 3-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Wolves when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Corona was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-23.

Corona's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for King, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corona will challenge Santiago at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for King, they will host Norco at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
