Basketball Recap: Coolidge Comes Up Short

Coolidge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 52-36 fall against the Fannindel Falcons.

Fannindel found their leader in freshman Kor'Ziareona Aubrey, who almost dropped a double-double on 35 points and nine rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Aubrey has scored at least a third of Fannindel's points. Zabriya Lawerence was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and five boards.

Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Fannindel, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Coolidge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-16 loss against Troy on the 14th. Fannindel has also already played their next matchup, a 55-38 defeat against Milford on the 13th.
