Vidor fought the good fight in their overtime contest against West Orange-Stark on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the West Orange-Stark Mustangs. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Vidor's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 18-7. As for West Orange-Stark, their record is now 6-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Lumberton the next time they take the court. West Orange-Stark will head out to face Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Vidor will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
