Basketball Game Preview: Westgate Christian Eagles vs. Temple Christian Academy Warriors

Westgate Christian hasn't had much luck against Temple Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Westgate Christian Eagles will host the Temple Christian Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Westgate Christian is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They were beaten by Bob Jones Academy 92-18. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-16.

Meanwhile, Temple Christian Academy entered their tilt with Oakwood Christian on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oakwood Christian 64-37. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Temple Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Westgate Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ethan Moses, who posted 15 points along with six boards and five steals. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Luke Passetti, who earned eight points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds.

Temple Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Temple Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
