The Tigers took their contest with ease, bagging a 34-7 victory over the Silver Foxes. Considering the Tigers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

El Paso's defense made their presence known, laying out Davion Arnette three times. Leading the way was Jude Gallardo with two sacks. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.2 total tackles per game. Attel-Wolf got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Chapin hadn't done well against Del Valle recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Huskies made off with a 23-22 win over the Conquistadores. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.
El Paso better keep an eye on Daveon Singleton. He was instrumental in Chapin's win, rushing for 149 yards and one score while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 141 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. Singleton was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards.
Chapin didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Del Valle to a completion percentage of just 45.5%. The team can thank Devon Harris for the heroic effort on defense: he. Chapin has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.61 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.61 in their last three games.
The victory got Chapin back to even at 3-3. As for El Paso, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3.
El Paso might still be hurting after the 42-16 loss they got from Chapin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 28-8.
