Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Sets Scoring Season-High Against Wauseon

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patrick Henry). They came out on top against the Wauseon Indians by a score of 8-5 on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mason Jardine was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Jackson Meienburg was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Patrick Henry was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Patrick Henry's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Wauseon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

As for Wauseon, they will be playing at home against Ottawa-Glandorf at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
