Pearl River is 3-0 against Sleepy Hollow since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Pearl River Pirates will head out to take on the Sleepy Hollow Horsemen at 5:00 p.m. Pearl River will be strutting in after a victory while Sleepy Hollow will be coming in after a loss.

Pearl River took a loss when they played away from home back in December of 2024, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed back in December of 2024. They managed a 40-36 win over Ardsley.

Meanwhile, Sleepy Hollow played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Somers and fell 56-21. The Horsemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-4.

Pearl River will need focus on slowing down Natalia Hargrave, one of several Sleepy Hollow players who made an impact when they last played. She posted seven points.

Sleepy Hollow's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Pearl River, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Pearl River took their win against Sleepy Hollow in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 52-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pearl River since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
