Volleyball Recap: Westchester Country Day Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Westchester Country Day and Westminster Catawba Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Westchester Country Day had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 21-25, 25-19.

Westminster Catawba Christian can attribute much of their success to Sophie Sherer, who had 21 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Sherer a new career-high in assists (ten).

Westchester Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.

As of now, neither Westchester Country Day nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
