Soccer Game Preview: Howard vs. Mount Pleasant

Howard is 1-6 against Mount Pleasant since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will host the Green Knights at 3:30 p.m. Mount Pleasant took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Howard, who comes in off a win.

Howard is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let St. Elizabeth get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Wednesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Howard with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Mount Pleasant's offense. They lost 8-0 to Middletown on Thursday. Mount Pleasant have struggled against Middletown recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The victory made it two in a row for Howard and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Mount Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11-2.
