Softball Recap: Wai'anae Drops Season-High Score on Leilehua

Wai'anae was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leilehua Mighty Mules. One positive for the Seariders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Wai'anae's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Leilehua, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Wai'anae will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nanakuli at 3:00 p.m. on March 25th. Wai'anae is facing Nanakuli at the right time seeing as Nanakuli is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Leilehua also won't see the field for a while: their next contest is against Mililani at 3:00 p.m. on March 25th. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Mililani 1.8, Leilehua 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
