Lanham Christian entered their tilt with Our Lady of Good Counsel on Thursday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They took down the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons 80-62.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lanham Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dominic Carr, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 17 rebounds. Those 22 points gave Carr a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tre Ray, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards.

Lanham Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

Lanham Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 20 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Lanham Christian will challenge Georgetown Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Lanham Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 games -- so hopefully Georgetown Prep likes a good challenge. Our Lady of Good Counsel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
