Baseball Recap: Dora Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Morgan, Dora was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Fultondale Wildcats 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Ashton Skalnik was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

Dora's record now sits at 5-9. As for Fultondale, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

Dora will have a chance to go back-to-back against Fultondale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
