Basketball Recap: LaSalle-Peru Takes a Loss

LaSalle-Peru was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Princeton Tigers. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

LaSalle-Peru's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Princeton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Coming up, LaSalle-Peru will look to defend their home court on Monday against Prairie Central at 7:00 p.m. Prairie Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Princeton, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
