Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rio Hondo Prep). They blew past the Providence Pioneers 7-3 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Kares, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Providence with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Easton Jara (4), Diego Householder (2), and Deven Gomez.

The victory made it two in a row for Rio Hondo Prep and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Providence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rio Hondo Prep will take on SEED: LA on Wednesday. Rio Hondo Prep is facing SEED: LA at the right time seeing as SEED: LA is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Providence, they will square off against Chadwick at 3:00 p.m. on January 14th.
