Softball Recap: Biddeford Takes a Loss

If Biddeford was feeling good fresh off their 15-1 takedown of Marshwood on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Kennebunk Rams on Friday, falling 12-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Gabby Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Jaylah Trottier was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Biddeford's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Kennebunk, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.
