Basketball Game Preview: Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets vs. Hancock Owls

The Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets will head out to challenge the Hancock Owls at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy took a blow against Battle Lake, falling 74-36.

Meanwhile, Hancock had to suffer through a 71-35 loss at the hands of Brandon/Evansville.

Hancock's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy strolled past Hancock in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 68-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
