Basketball Recap: Jayden Docanto's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Neighborhood House Charter over Brooke

If Neighborhood House Charter was feeling good fresh off their 49-28 takedown of Varsity Opponent last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Neighborhood House Charter Legends took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brooke Senators on Friday.

Neighborhood House Charter lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jayden Docanto, who posted 14 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Elijah Fletcher, who had eight points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Neighborhood House Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neighborhood House Charter will head out to take on Boston Latin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brooke, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Tech Boston Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
