Volleyball Recap: Gwynedd Mercy Academy Takes a Loss

Gwynedd Mercy Academy lost against Neshaminy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Monarchs fell just short of the Skins by a score of 3-2.

Gwynedd Mercy Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (97-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 25-14, 8-25, 15-12.

Reilly Graham paced Gwynedd Mercy Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Graham got some help from Peggy Dougherty and her 27 assists. Carolyn Walton controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Gwynedd Mercy Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Neshaminy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Gwynedd Mercy Academy has already played their next contest (against Radnor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Neshaminy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Villa Joseph Marie on the 17th.
