Sierra and Sand Creek are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Sierra Stallions will be playing at home against the Sand Creek Scorpions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra will be strutting in after a win while Sand Creek will be coming in after a defeat.
Sierra will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Falcon, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Sierra escaped with a win on Friday against Falcon by the margin of a single free throw, 40-39.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sierra to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deja Burns, who posted seven points in addition to eight boards and seven blocks. Burns is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shetara Roebuck, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points and six steals.
Sierra was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Falcon only racked up six assists.
Meanwhile, Sand Creek played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Falcon 52-15. The Scorpions haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Sand Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Sierra, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
