Basketball Game Preview: Leake Academy Rebels vs. Simpson Academy Cougars

Leake Academy hasn't had much luck against Simpson Academy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Leake Academy Rebels will challenge the Simpson Academy Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Simpson Academy will be up against a hot Leake Academy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to eight. Leake Academy blew past Wayne Academy 60-33 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Simpson Academy took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 65-29 win over Park Place Christian Academy. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Simpson Academy's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Leake Academy, they have also been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Leake Academy and Simpson Academy were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting on January 3rd, but Leake Academy came up empty-handed after a 42-41 loss. Can Leake Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
