             Georgetown won the last time they faced East View, and things went their way  on Friday too. The Georgetown Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the East View Patriots 58-14 at home. Given the Eagles' advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings  (they are ranked 115th, while the Patriots are ranked 317th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Leading Georgetown to victory were  Kaleb Mcdougle and  Jett Walker.  Mcdougle threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns, while  Walker rushed for 127 yards on only 14 carries. Walker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 108  rushing yards. Georgetown also got help from  Xavier Warren, who showed off his sure hands for 84  receiving yards.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Georgetown was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 293  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Georgetown's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. As for East View, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Georgetown will square off against Glenn at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Georgetown's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season. As for East View, they will take on Chaparral at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for East View and five for Chaparral.
