Softball Recap: Cranston West Takes a Loss

Cranston West and Chariho squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cranston West had to settle for second. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Siena Nardelli was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Cranston West's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Chariho, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Cranston West nor Chariho have any future games scheduled.
